HC Driver

Approx. 40 hours per week | Potential to Become Permanent | Great Pay Rates

Programmed is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused HC Driver to join our client a leading global discount supermarket chain for an evening shift (6pm or 7pm start ). This is an approximately 40 hours per week, with the strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.



About the Role

In this position, you will:

• Load your trailer at the depot
• Drive directly to allocated stores
• Unload freight using an electric pallet jack
• Load store returns before heading to the next location or returning to the depot for reloading
• Ensure accurate, efficient and safe delivery of all goods
• Operate end riders to load trailers
• Complete company paperwork each shift
• Clean your vehicle daily to maintain a professional, ready‑for‑use standard

Requirements

• HC license – essential
• Flexibility to work weekends (generally one weekend on, one weekend off)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Forklift license – advantageous but not essential
• Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency
• Ability to handle deliveries with care, avoiding damage to products, equipment, and facilities
